Horses for Courses

This may be an over (ab)used line, but that did not prevent me from using it here.

Point I am pondering over here is this. Why do people choose the wrong person/tool/thing for the wrong task and then put the blame on the resource used?

For example, what is an Internet browser meant for? Browsing? Checking mail? Or to act as your daily event planner? Then why do people install an add-on and then cry that it sucks and as a result, the browser has so little support for event planning?

Another example. The other day, a friend asked if wordpress can host password protected blogs where he can upload pictures, which needed to be shared in private. Heard of photo sharing websites, pal?

Worst of all. Putting yourself in the wrong profession, just because you are going to get highly paid. And then, complain about lack of satisfaction, improper work-life balance etc. Rings any bells?

PS : I am perfectly satisfied with my profession.
